Re: New to the Blackfoot and have a few ?'s

Congrats!

Blackfoot's are cool...sorta the grandfather of most modern R/C trucks.

I'm amazed at how many hop ups are still available. (and there's all sorts of new stuff that's out)

There's been a few really sweet examples popping up on here lately! :D

I had a new partially built kit years ago (that was given to me) that I later gave to a friend.

I thought it was a cheaply engineered product at the time.

I wish I would have kept it now...

Re: **TOTAL RECALL**

Looking good! I love the license plate and the tail ights turned out really nice. Not sure I dig the top though... Thanks. I'm kind of unsure of top myself. (It's only a quick mock up.) It need's a little more work. I was just toying with some fresh ideas. :D The vinyl was left over from the dune b...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

Any idea who made these?

I thought they were You-G's, but now I'm not sure.

They appear to have been made for an external oil resevoir, have internal springs, and are pretty stiff.

I've had them for years..(never installed)..I think they were made for the front of a Tamiya Frog..

Re: Cool Car Chase....

This is great! I thought of doing something like this ages ago, but like most of my ideas, it never got past the "wouldn't it be cool if..." stage. Also, this just underscores the need for more RC cop-car body choices. We need a 1974 Dodge Monaco (Bluesmobile), a late 70s Plymouth Fury (S...
