Kyosho Quad plus more...
I'm not sure yet what I all I have here yet but I plan on doing some research and finding out what chassis the nitro is. It looks old and in pretty decent shape.
I want to convert the quad back to electric and run it...This Quad is pretty big too.
On with the pictures...

I always thought those were pretty cool and feel they should have caught on more than they did. I'd rather see R/C quads over dirt bikes.

Yeah it does! I would have to do move the chassis brace but other than that I'm sure I could make something that will work.
I was thrown for a loop with the white parts. I did not know Kyosho did this too.

Only for the PRO-X and this one they went with white plastic. Those were the days everyone was dying the white asso parts.

Dennis, I was checking out your build thread for the Pro custom. Preety sweet build I must say. ( http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=26369&hilit=Rampage+Pro ) Did you ever finish it? What buggy wheels are those mounted on there?DennisM wrote:Outlaw Rampage Pro - for the blue chassis. I´m really fond of the Rampage Pro´s

The rims are Kyosho ultima based scale car rims - the front ones are narrowed a bit.
Are You going to put Yours back to it´s former glory and run it?

Thanks for the info on the wheels. They look nice on your's. As for bringing it back to it's former glory, Not sure. Parts seem scarce for these especially if I want it to be nitro.DennisM wrote:Thanks - No I haven´t gotten any further on that projectSFC K wrote:Dennis, I was checking out your build thread for the Pro custom. Re: Kyosho Quad plus more...
I started taking apart the transmission on the Rampage tonight. I was checking to see why the outputs were not spinning when I spun the spur gear. Once I got it apart, low and behold the diff gear was toast. Melted the thrust balls into the gear. All the other gears looked great due to being steal...
I did some searching to see if I could find a new set. Nothing...This will be a set back for sure.
