RPM stealth conversion with b4 topshaft ?
RPM stealth conversion with b4 topshaft ?
I know people have said on here it can be done, namely pop the topshaft gear of so you can use the b4 slipper. But havent actually see anybody do it? Unless of course i've missed a post somewhere!
I'm going to do it on my 10T only way i can think of doing it is having a peice of steel bar drilled out to the right diameter then pushing it off using a g clamp or something similar.
Any other suggestions guys?

Re: RPM stealth conversion with b4 topshaft ?
I did one with a gear pulled, then tapped the new gear in place with a brass sleeve. But the newer b4 shafts with the black gears don't work so you would want an older shaft. What are you trying to do? You can run a b4 shaft in a 2.25 stealth w/o mods
Re: RPM stealth conversion with b4 topshaft ?
I want to use the rpm gearbox casing. as you can still get them, and want my 10t to be as RPM'd up as possible!

You can get the hydra shafts from RPM and then just use the 4 slipper assembly
Re: RPM stealth conversion with b4 topshaft ?
I have a stock 3-gear Stealth trans and it was as easy as remove old top-shaft and install new top-shaft.

He has the RPM 2.65 conversion that uses a smaller top shaft to achieve that ratio-

For RPM tranny Case, you will need this one.
