RPM 2.65 stealth conversion on buggy?
I got one of those with a set of parts... It's supposed to be made for the RC10T but whay not on a buggy?
What's the effect? Much punch but less top end speed?

Yeah, essentially, the tall drive ratio was to counteract the truck tires and get the same gear ratio as a buggy. The result, if geared the way it is supposed to be geared, is no different that a 2.0 gearbox.
The DO guys liked it because you could run really hot motors on short tracks and not worry about problematic gearing.
