i have the same thing for the RC10, i remember breaking it back in the day, the one i have now is pretty much for show lol. crappy plastic

I figure I will leave it as is with exception of making clearance for the servo saver...

Im currently going down this route with the Avante/Egress ball raced steering levers. There doesn't seem like there's enough clearance for these arms to swing without hitting the underside of the front gearbox housing. Eek!

Just wanted to update the ball raced steering option I have gone with. Obviously I have fabricated a base plate from 1.6mm fibreglass which is held in place through the original servo mounting holes. It took some working out to get this right. Ive removed a portion of the electrics tub at the front to allow the Avanti steering arms to swing full way round without bumping into the gearbox housing.
Im yet to bolt the car back together but I have mounted the underguard, bumper and gearbox all up as a mock up and everything seems sweet. Im going to run a low profile FET servo and will have to locate a Kimbrough servo saver before I put the car on a race track. I think there's enough room left for my Speed Passion B/L unit and spektrum receiver even.
