Steering servo recommendations

Post by Showcase1186 »

I have several RC10 buggy builds that I'm in the process of outfitting with electronics. These 10's will never be raced, merely tested and shelf'd. I'm looking for a "smaller" Futaba servo or equivalent that would fit nicely in the chassis and still be functionally capable if I did decided to take it on the occasional test run. I'd prefer something smaller than standard steering servo size, to better fit the limited chassis space.
Any economical recommendations?

Thanx!

Hi
I remember using a couple of Futaba S-132's when we first got our RC10's. They were faster, .13 seconds but really not enough torque to race offroad. We burned a few out also. The size is smaller and will work on an outdoor offroad track for demo purposes easily. We even put bearings in the drive train to increase life. The s-132 is considered a mid size servo. Hope this helps.
regards
Philip
