I actually own thee 55 Chevy 2 door body thats shown on that page.
Bolink is still active. I couldn't get to any pages as well, so I emailed them. They responded stating all bodies on their site are for sale. Later I found out that I could only access the pages using Internet Explorer. Chrome,Firefox & Opera wont navigate the Bolink site correctly for some reason  Long story short, I bought the SuperBird Body
Oh I know they're still active. I don't know to what extent though as most of the products were dropped or sold off to other companies such as RJSpeed there. I do know that a lot of the molds were sold off. Either by talking to random people who bought them or seeing them put on eBay for quite a long time after they went out of business. So with that being said they are either just selling left over inventory or made their own molds from existing bodies.

I tried going to their site with Internet Exploder and it does indeed work. I really put my foot in my mouth with that one but I'm glad you can still buy the bodies. :)

Don't forget Hardcastle and McCormick. Car wasn't as cool as the General, but still fun to watch.

[quote="MelvinsArmy"] I get more excited at seeing an orange 69 Charger than a black Lamborghini.

Yes. When I saw Bullitt in the theater, at that point I had NEVER seen a Charger either in a photo or in the flesh. That amazing looking car had a sinister beauty. The chase reminded me of the opening sequence of Grand Prix because on the big screen the experience of speed made me dizzy.

I have a real Charger...so I'm always looking for accurate models, bodies, etc...
The HPI one is the best lexan one I've seen....
Hey, I also have a real Charger--and it's true, Parma made a 1969 Charger body (my real one's a '70, unfortunately there's no '70 body, but I tried to make my '69 Parma body look similar). I'll take a picture tonight!

The body looks good on my Optima with one minor gripe...the Optima's front wheels stick out quite wide apart. The body would look better if the front tires would come inside the wheel-wells, but it's just not possible unless someone invented shortened control arms & dogbones. But, if you put some tires & wheels with a bit of offset on the rear, to make them stick out a bit more than the fronts, it would look pretty good.

I have some wheels & tires coming that might do the trick, but haven't received them yet...

Some pics of my 1969 Charger body from 25-ish years ago. I tried to make it look more like a 1970 by painting the front bumper as a surround instead of having a center partition. It looks a little weird when mounted because the front wheels on the Optima stick out too far.

I just put the body on the Optima to give an idea what it looks like mounted. I have my own custom-made on-road body mounts but this Optima's going to be offroad only. The one I'm building next will be onroad & offroad.
