well, my OCD got the best of me...front end revised with steering mocked up:

no shock or steering interference at all:

sorry for the cell phone shots, I am still in the mock up stages, when I get to making the "real" nose tubes I will take better photos with a good camera.

Recently I bought a vintage custom painted and'y body from Tulsa. The dirt burners aluminum wing came from another list member here. Slap it all together and you get this

I got one of those with a set of parts... It's supposed to be made for the RC10T but whay not on a buggy?

What's the effect? Much punch but less top end speed?

Last night as I was sorting out parts for sale I had my worlds buggy out on the table and my son said, are you put a body on that? Which got me thinking, what body fits best and looks best. I have tried a couple of bodies that just didn't work out....

I haven't had much luck on this issue so far. This is a protoform losi ripper body i trimmed up but as you can see the sides are too narrow.

So I dropped by the hobby shop and picked up these vintage beauties.

Which one is narrower, the bandit or the slash?

The caster blocks are about the same. The hex thickness can be varied.

Maybe look at this.

Have a rc10 gold pan stamp b and found some rpm arms at local hobby shop item 70442 and 70542. Would these fit or wrong items. If so which fit?

Fronts are direct fit for a CE/Team/Worlds car. Rears fit but require the longer hinge pins which rpm still sells (70590). You may have the correct pins just depends on the arms on your car currently. It was a running change

Guys, was wondering if swapping to a RPM Gearbox from a standard stealth tranny would help as far as running a brushless setup in an Old RC10 Graphite. I am just looking to add a bit more reliability - not that the stealth is weak. This is a buggy...

I am just going to Machine the stock ones a bit, and maybe open the drive slot so I can add blades to the MIP CVDs.

Oh well I should not be so worried - its not mine, but I am building it like mine, lol.
