Looks good Willy. What color were you thinking of for the wheels? Hot pink would really set that body off.

Yeah, pink wheels and pink springs would look great. You can also get some white RPM rod ends and dye those pink along with a pink puretch battery strap.

You should have 'shopped the springs too while you were at it.

Highwayracer, how did you do that ? I have to admit,I'm not a big fan of pink but that does look pretty sharp.May end up giving this one to my daughter.

Re: New lid and wheels on the Losi
In related news, I've actually contemplated dying a yellow pair pink, but am expecting to get some sort of flourescent orange (without photoshop obviously). If I give it a shot, I'll let everyone know what happens. If it's whacked, I figure you can go black. I've noticed that the xx spoked yellow wheels are still easy to get, but the white (naturals) seem tougher to come by now.

Re: New lid and wheels on the Losi
I've recently come around to the "period correct" Day-Glo accents. Nice car WillyT! I vote for more, like the antenna, battery strap, springs. A combo of pink and/or yellow works fine with the sticker scheme you already have. Even a little baby blue on the springs may be interesting.
I found a parts list on-line and it did list the 5-spoke in natural. They were A7040 and A7140 for the fronts and rears respectively, as opposed to A7041 and A7141 for the yellow. How common they are is another thing.

I say pink. a bright yellow might look ok too but i think white will be too bland.WillyThickfoot wrote:Thanks guys. What color springs should I be running on this thing.
