The standard JC Racing 5 spokes for the buggies don't quite fit over a t2 universal axle.
Fronts work great on the t2 steering axles though...
I saw a couple of posts on the 1/4" axle and using a 1/4" countersink and that there USED to be Losi wheels made that fit the associated 1/4 rear drive axle...but the tower link is dead...no Losi at tower.
Anyone have an A-main part# (or other online source like fleabay or whatever?)
Makes me wonder if maybe the JC Racing 5 spokes for the Losi XX and CR XXX would fit?
I have less than ZERO knowledge about Losi parts and sizes. Wondered if anyone could chime in with previous experience trying to mount up 2.2 buggy tires to a stock t2 with the 1/4" universals (7362).
I'm NOT overly concerned about the offset, nor am I wanting to invest in another set of universals/cvds and bearings just yet.
I just wanna slap some buggy wheels on it for kicks and giggles.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
2.2 buggy wheels for a 1/4" t2 universal? Losi wheels??

I may be better served to just switch out the bearings and change over to 3/16" universals in the long run since I already have so many wheel sets for the buggies.
Probably be about $45 to change them over. Momma won't go for that anytime soon.
Bummer

Re: 2.2 buggy wheels for a 1/4" t2 universal? Losi wheels?
I'm more of a BBRC member being about 45 mins EAST of Knoxville, but I try to get to a race or two every year.
Really nice new facility near the Knoxville Zoo at Chilhowee Park just opened this past weekend.
I race mainly at RunAMuck in Newport and the Jolly Roger in Dandridge. No ROAR rules, just fun racing with the BBRC.
That's one of the main reasons I'm looking at slapping buggy wheels/tires to my T2.
My 94CE outdrives and hubs are starting to wear down really bad due to 10t brushless power for the past year.
They are notching pretty bad and it's near to impossible to find the outdrives any more...but T2 transmission parts are a lot easier to come by.
Some of the t2Buggy builds like the b1.5 tweaked my interest in it, for sure.
I'm just a hack when it comes to the knowledge base these guys have when it comes to parts interchangeability between the different models and even between manufacturers. I'm barely smart enough to put the question in the right thread column. haha.
