good starting point ,but you really should add something to reduce flex and nose tubes to keep that nosepiece straight. It looks like it took some beating and folded back quite a bit already. Or maybe you went for an extreme kick-up
That might be a result of the front screws not being tight on the nose peice . I just wanted to see how everything fit. Turns out I need to try and move the shock tower forward to fit the body.
you better check the regulations on wheelbase if you plan to enter it in races.
Looks still ok to me, but it's hard to tell from pictures.
shortening it should be easy enough on the front side.
Intriguing combination, mid engine for quicker response, but with a long chassis and apparently a lot of front kick up, which would tend to make it more stable/less responsive. Would love to see this run, please keep us updated. Cheers.
I won this car with an impulse bid. I think it's pretty cool! It has a handmade aluminium chassis. A little work and it should be a unique car. I have no idea how it will really work though.

I converted one of my jr's to mid motor back in the day. It worked really well especially on carpet ovals.
I place the motor plate on the other side...this way, I could run my motors in normal rotation. I also had to modify the rear bulkhead so...
is there any specific holes that need to be drilled or any major modification that needs to be done to convert the RC10 over...........i might be getting another Rc10 gold pan and wanted to do the mod to it

a non-sensored brushless motor would not care what rotation it spun.
OK Guys I have done a convertion that has not been done much. Thanks to another buddy of mind Together we did a pair of RC custom mid engine gold pan buggies. I set mind up as a truck but use gold pan chassic. USE truck tires in the rear. With...

i'm definately going to keep the bumper on there. i'm going to be using this car mostly in the street and on dirt lots w/ my brother and the cars take a pretty good beating.
My goal was to use up parts I had, I plan on runnning a 3S LIPO and massive gearing for top speed fun. Hardest part was the cutting a rear bulkhead bottom off and mating it to a front hinge pin support such that I end up with zero rear toe in and...

I never went any further. You know other projects and all.
:D Hi Everyone. Here is a thread on a project i started in December 2017. During the holidays I found a RC10 mid engine buggy conversion. Mind you, im not a buggy guy. It was a nice, clean and simple design with a few custom parts like the chassis....

Vary nice job,I really like the pantera body.
Thanks, it was the appropriate body for a mid-engine car
Holy Mother of Space Goats, Batman!!! That turned out awesome!

HAHAHA Thanks...this was a cool project outcome i think....
Just the other day I picked up a used RPM 2.65 case off of e-bay. For some reason it had the other side of the slipper shaft drilled out. I thought it was odd, but after thinking the mid engine Tekin RC10 popped into my head. So I used one of my RPM...
