Re: Losi Junior Pro Se
I actually have a jr2 chassis with the sides cut in my pile of spares. Kinda wish i caught tou before you shaved the sides on yours lol.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Re: Losi Junior Pro Se
Thanks for the offer. I have a few more Jr2s including a NIP in the stash, so it was a bit relaxing to cut on this one. The bottom is pretty nice, however, so not too relaxing.

Had a few minutes at the bench to start to bolt things together.
I tried the Dragonpunch Ti shock shafts. They are a bit rough compered to OEM Losis (on the right).
They look good assembled with the MIP bodies- but would not use them on a serious runner. They'd chew up the o-rings with a quickness.

The 4-40 ballstuds are quite nice, though.
The ballstuds fit well with RPM ends.
Mix in some Lunsford Ti turnbuckles. Gonna perform so well on the shelf.

Rear coming together with XX retro in 2.6 ratio mocked up to check dogbone lengths.
Even though this will be a shelfer, I had to tweak the axle placement with shims to shift the bones inboard a bit.

Re: Losi Junior Pro Se
I have a set of Trinity Point Blank wheels and tires from way back. The rear tires are in good shape, but the fronts were dry rotted. While searching for replacement front tires, I stumbled upon some Amark wheels and tires that looked very similar to the Point Blanks. It turns out, they are the same.
Original rear
Original front after removing dead tire. You can see the unique beadlock design, similar to an 1/8th scale buggy.
Front wheels polished..looking good.
