40th spur gear replacement
Unfortunately I managed to strip the spur gear on my 40th rere. Not having much luck finding a suitable replacement. Would be greatly appreciated if you might know where to find one or a suitable alternative.

Re: 40th spur gear replacement
Those are diff ball holes that get used as mount holes when the gear is used on a Stealth slipper.

Re: 40th spur gear replacement
If your LHS has a standard Kimbrough, it is the exact same gear. Oddly enough, it is cheaper in Associated packaging.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Re: 40th spur gear replacement
Also, if you upgrade to 12 total carbide diff balls in the kimbrough gear you will have the best diff/slipper holding set up. Remember, that poor gear has to serve as both in a 6 gear trans.
