Guys, I'm looking for a source for M2.6 nuts. Kyosho uses this size for some of the suspension link connections. Of course, I can buy an OEM pack of 10 for $10, but that just seems silly. I've found some here:

These appear to be plain with a zinc coating. Has anyone found any that are black oxide like the originals?

None that are any cheaper. The 2.5 is much more common.
That is an odd size. It is used on the endbells of many brushed motors, which finding various length screws is bad enough.
Finding a tap and rethreading some 2.5 or 2-56 nuts might be an option.

I had the same concern when starting my Kyosho Pro-XRT build. I ended up deciding the heck with 2.6mm hardware and went with 3mm. I just enlarged the holes to accept the 3mm ball ends and screws. Just throwing out another idea.
