Please help identify RC10 nuts

This info is not in the manual. What is the correct part number for the x4 large black plastic nuts which keep the rear suspension blocks in place?

My car has the A&L conversion so maybe the nuts are different, but I am not sure? Anyway those nuts do not come with the A&L kit.

metal 8-32 plain nut 8182 on the 10T

(I think none on the 10, 8/32 screw only bolts in rear block)

Hi, yes I am using 8/32 screws which fit into these large plastic nuts. I guess I may have to search ebay for anything which says 8/32...

You mean the steel nuts with nylon inserts? There are better than the all nylon nuts?

Anyone know what size of thread / nuts are on the front axles of a 1994 World's?

For a runner then yes, the best nuts to hold the rear wheels on are the steel nyloc nuts, the all nylon ones aren't strong enough imo

4-40 for the steel axles, 5-40 for the aluminum.

there's nothing really wrong with using a full nylon nut for a wheel nut. losi's came like that right from the factory. associated's aluminum front axles come with them, i've used them like that for years and never lost a wheel. but if you take the wheels on and off a whole lot, replace the nut every now and again.

same with the rear, i've used nylon 8-32 nuts on the rear axles for weight savings. when they'd start getting a little too easy to wrench on, i'd install new ones.

steel or aluminum nyloc nuts wear out the same way too. the steel ones just weigh more.

I read this title thinking most people subscribed to this board would be identified as such. But please don't go replacing factory aluminum and nylon stuff with titanium. You'd be the nuts one then.
