I have an '86 Blackfoot that I'm upgrading......I like the older stuff. I have an '85 RC10 and a '95 Losi XX. I've been looking for a Trinity rear sway bar kit or the CRA Performance version.......Been looking on Ebay and Amazon with no luck.....unfortunately I do not have 25 or more posts to look on the "buy' forum....It would take me a year to post that many....LOL

Sorry man, don't know of any. Not long ago MIP had a diff kit for the re-release Blackfoot and Monster Beetle.

One of my favorite models. Those sway bars are harder to find lately only got a couple of them for my blackfoots.

Sorry, but I am having trouble searching and trying to find what is needed to upgrade my Early (80’s) RC-10 buggy.

Many upgrades back in the times, sway bars motor etc but never did anything with the wheels and tires.

I would like to know ways to...

Welcome. If you're looking for aluminum wheels and still have the 1/4 tapered rear axles, these wheels on eBay from Korea are pretty nice.

guys,
im planning on a bit of a light resto on my standard lazer zx-rr, id like to throw a few vintage hop ups in to the mix, which is where i need help, i was ony 12 when racing this back in the day so dont have a clue what hop ups were actually...

About the only things I can think of to upgrade a zx-rr would be some gpm alloy parts, like shock towers, suspension block pivots. Cross might also have had some alloy parts for lazer or the touring cars. ZX-RR was such high spec already that im not...

I have read a bit here that you can upgrade your top shaft with the B4 slipper on an original 10T? can someone direct me to the correct parts needed for this? Thanks in advance.

I am running that on my sons car. Make sure you have the correct top shaft.
Note that this one does not have a built in spacer, similar to the kit original top shaft.
I had to put a bushing between the stealth transmission body and back of the triad...

Just wondering if upgrading the servo and receiver in my old Raider would make any difference and if so in what way?

I think the Ultima rear arms fit, but the Raider front arms are swept back more like an rc10's are. Do the Ultima Pro arms do that as well?

i would like to do this on a car i have. anyone know what parts to buy? i cant seem to find any info about this. I keep looking for a parts list or a kit. No luck.

the above car looks like a plain 10LS. they removed the damper plates on the upper pod brace, drilled 2 holes for ball studs to mount the macro shocks on the inside, and added ball studs at the chassis brace to mount the shocks on the outside.

Since I'll be eventually upgrading to a brushless ESC & motor combination, I've been doing a lot of research on bulletproofing my T.Optima's drivetrain. Note that I'll be sticking with chain drive for now, as I can't either find or afford a belt...

I just got in a trade a mint never ran blackfoot from 1987 and have been working on getting it built to become a shelf queen . I have a few questions...first is how does the sunroof and rear window mount up? It came with a bag full of screws and...

Well,

With the exception of the original's scale OEM grille, it looks like a Blackfoot restoration should be pretty easy now.

Blackfoot 3 is due in Aug. w/original appearing hard plastic Ford Stepside body. :D

New chassis is typical Tamiya goofy...
