A while ago I bought a worlds re-re and built it. I ran the gearbox on the drill for a bit to free it up.
However, it was still a bit notchy (but not as bad as others have experienced). Anyway, I finally fitted the old idler gear and case. What a difference! Should have fitted them ages ago.

Yeah... Of the two kits I've built so far... one spun but was rough... the other was total junk. So I pre-emptively ordered a handful of extra cases, idlers, topshafts... :-/
