novak 410-HPc problems

Post by Norman »

Hello. I have been looking on this site for a little bit now and love all the information thats here.

I do have a problem i cant figure out and cant find any info about it.

I have a novak 410-HPc esc thats in my gold pan. I have been trying to calibrate it but it does not seem to be working right. I set all my radio settings to what the instructions say for a ex10 radio. But when i do that the motor goes in reverse and i have double checked to see if the polarity was correct on the motor and it is. and i have no brakes. even if i reverse the throttle channel in the radio. still no brakes.

and one have any tips.

thanks!.

Im thinking about just putting my t4 esc back in. that thing is a champ lol

oh and btw im using a ex10 radio, reedy modified mr. y's motor (10x3)

thanks!
Hi. :)

Your radio has a reverse switch or pot, try changing it to the other setting and go through the steps again-

Have you actually tried it with the motor leads reversed?

Just spin the endbell 180deg. Save yourself some soldering.

the HPC isn't a reverse speedo - if the mill is spinning the wrong way, well, it's been soldered backwards and has nothing to do with the radio

(or as said rotate the head half a turn, same result but you might loose track of what magnet is on what pole)
