Any one converted there older rc10 to run a 12 mil drive hex? Lots of wheel choices for that.

Re: 12 mil hex
I took the thicker Traxxas grey 12mm hexes and just tapered the back side slightly to get the 1/4" axle to fit. I wasted the first one as I tapered it too far and it bound up against the carrier, but at a couple bucks a set it was a cheap experiment. You can have your LHS order some... p/n 3654.
Here's what they look like: http://cgi.ebay.com/Rustler-Front-Wheel-Hubs-2-Axle-Pins-Traxxas-3654-/220578384916?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item335b7f0c14
I run HPI Super Stars typically. I have some other 2.2" rears that fit as well, but I'm not sure on the brand (Kyosho RB5 maybe).

The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

Re: 12 mil hex
I never thought of using the traxxas hexes, I have some left over from my slash. I'm going to try that.
