Parts needed to convert XX from slider to CVD driveshafts

Post by DerbyDan »

I've currently got sitting NIB a Losi XX (courtesty of GixerJay on here 8) ) ... it must be one of the first edition kits as it is supplied with the older JRX style slider driveshafts & as I am trying to build it up to the same spec as my old XX that I raced BITD i'd like to run dogbone & UJ driveshaft (which might aswell be MIP CVDs  )

Thing is - apart from the diff outdrives & the driveshafts themselves - what else would I need to buy? What parts of the diff are different - i'm guessing that at least the thrust race is different?

Thanks in advance - I just want to be sure i'm ordering the correct parts, especially as i'll probably have to get them shipped from the States :)

Heres a pic of my old XX in our 'MCM' team colours..... just because

Ah ha - no i'm afraid not - MCM was a little model shop based in Kettering here in the uk - my mate Matt & his dad ran it & me and some other of our friends that would all go racing together basically formed a little team...... Matt would offer us discounts - but generally it was all about having a laugh at the race meetings.
