or you could over-react instead of just watching ebay, which would be your best place to find them anyway.

The buy/sell/trade rule is frustrating especially when you just want to buy a piece, but its there for a reason. As said before, eBay is your best bet, I picked up an entire 12e for what a vintage new set of arms would run just a couple weeks ago

The part number for the front arms is #3210, and it is the same part used on the early RC12i car also.

so cut the front one off. either way, readily available ones will bolt right up. you just need to get creative with spacers )to set ride height) and a slightly longer pin at the knuckle.

Wow!

I am curious as to how old your grandson is and what his plans are for the 12e. If he is a collector of vintage cars, then absolutely help him find a replacement part. If, on the other hand, he plans to play with or race the car I would suggest that you sell the 12e to a collector and use the money to buy a newer 12L. Finding parts for the old 12e and 12i cars is not easy, and you'll be looking at big expenses anytime he breaks something.

My grandson is 5 years old . I got my 1st jerobee rc car about the same age , & my 1st rc 100 about 5 years later. I've spent hours with him with flying a gyro helicopter . He also has a tamyia rc car he runs now. I can't wait to take him back in time . Thanks
