Re: Team Durango DEX210

The yellow wheels ..... I'd be interested to know who started the yellow wheel craze, and why. It's not like it's just Durango, TLR, everybody, is doing it. And they're butt-ugly! My guess is Losi. Losi went all-in with the neon-colored everything. :x Yeah, but they had all kinds of neon - blue, gr...

Re: Some love for the B2!

Well, crap - they only made the original RC10 in numerous variations for 10 years and didn't see fit for a model number change.

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

If AE does a good job with their updates to the 6 gear, there's no reason it should be hard to build. And yes, I have built a 6 gear. Why are people excited? .You can buy and build a brand new Rc10 and not feel bad about running it .There's a chance this will spawn re-releases of later Rc10's .Part...

Re: Full Sized RC10 Box Art at 2013 RCX Show!

Regarding the "pre-order": Is there anything we must do differently than a normal "back order" purchase through Tower Hobbies???. It's not a "normal purchase" until they come in stock. You're not actually charged until they ship it. When you pre-order or back order som...

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

Is everybody excited to have a new RC100 that they can run and not be afraid of scratching and breaking, or are people more excited to have a new box to put on the shelf to collect dust as an "investment"? All this talk and concern about limited numbers begs the question. Inquiring minds ...

Re: Anyone feel the new kits, specifically the B4.1 just isn

I think as far as fit and finish the new kits are better, less hand finishing. I agree 100% the older kits were more fun to build. The new cars also work much better. I also liked the aftermarket of the late 80's early 90's. Precisely. Back in the day, the time you'd spend fine-tuning and trimming ...

Heck with that, I want to know why they're not calling it the RC10B1.1

Re: Intriguing ad in RC Car Action - RC10 re-release?

"Why didn't they include ceramic bearings?" I've seen that posted on more than one forums in the last year. I can remember, back in the day, I used to build cars for people on the side. Once I asked my LHS why they didn't carry the RC10 w/bearings and instead usually only had the bu...
