And then people will just complain about the quality of kit bearings, like they do with all modern kits it seems, or gripe about the cost of the kit if quality bearings are included............... round and around it goes, it never seems to end.

When you order your kit, order a set of bearings at the same time = done!

I've seen that posted on more than one forums in the last year.

I can remember, back in the day, I used to build cars for people on the side. Once I asked my LHS why they didn't carry the RC10 w/bearings and instead usually only had the bushing kit in stock. And they told me it was because for every bearing car they sold, they sold 10 cheaper ones. They didn't want customers walking away because they couldn't afford the more expensive model, so they just kept loose bearings for sale on the side.

Most people these days don't want to spend more than $200 -$300 on an RTR. Try to explain why the kit version for the same price is better. Add the price of ceramics on top and nobody other than hard core racers would buy a $400+ kit.

My original RC10 was ordered in November of 1987 and I didn't get it until the first week of April, 1988! A 3-month backorder is a dream compared to that one!! :D

The heck with ball bearings, given the feeling of time travel, I want to know why the kit doesn't come with a flux capacitor?

I'll probably use the cheap ones in mine but they'll suit the purpose.
Chinese bearings in a Chinese car sounds good to me.

need to ask, how does pre-order works? for tower, do I need to input my credit card details then check proceed?i tried using Paypal and it says it does not allow PP for International Order.

When you pre-order, will you be charge for the amount now or later when it becomes available?

sorry newbie in pre-order stuff.

Tower will charge your credit card when the order gets filled, so there is no upfront payment, hope that helps
