Composite Craft Carbon Fiber Chassis Set for Traxxas TRX-1!
Hello everyone. Over that past several months I have been working with Composite Craft developing a design for a chassis set for the vintage Traxxas TRX-1! This set will consist of a main lower chassis, upper chassis deck, front & rear shock towers, battery hold plate & steering drag link. All parts will be make from woven carbon fiber! I hope to have the first prototype completed within the next two weeks. I will post pictures once it's done. I'm looking for some feedback on this to see if there is still a market out there for such a product. I strongly believe that that there is. Let me know what you guys think and if you would be interested in such a product. Thnx!

On the positive side, I think there are more traxxas parts still available than any other manufacturer.
Curious to see if CC come thru for you on the pieces. I have not been very impressed with their attempt to return to rc. I personally would sooner send my stuff to fiberlyte and know it will get done. If cc is getting it done for you that's cool, but my personal experiences- they will not get my business

It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas

I'm surprised to hear that actually. The person that I have been working with there has been very good.

Kim is the rc guy there. The only rc guy there. I sent a chassis, nose, towers, and mock up pieces at their request, they sat there for four months until I asked for them back. They didn't touch em.

why do you need feedback, the parts are being made for you no matter what right? build yourself a car. if people like it, they can get a hold of c.c. themselves.

Thanks for the input. This would really be for someone who is restoring one and/or building a shelf queen. I was just testing the waters to see if there would be some interest as I was thinking of having like 5 made. I would keep one and sell the others just to offset my costs.
