Re: RC10B6? Already?
I've been strongly considering picking up a 22 3.0. What I find really weird is that when the 22 came out, in mid motor everyone complained that the motor was too far forward. With the 3.0 they moved it back like everyone else and have now just come out with the forward flat version that others are ...

Re: RC10B6? Already?
It's crazy that the B5 name only lasted about 2-1/2 years. That's as short as the B2 but even then the B3 was really just an updated B2. The conversion between them was easy. This appears to be an entirely new car(s).

Re: Team Associated Teases New Laydown Transmission (Stealth
There has been a 3D printed version available for a while. I forgot who makes it though.

Re: Johnboy's Raborn Invencer
On hard pack where 2.2 offroad style tires aren't run, the Invencer with the new updates is absolutely a modern car stunner. I'm working on a 2.2 solution for dirt tracks that run them btw. A new dirt oval is going to open here again soon so Barry Raborn and I will both be testing. It'll be cool to ...

Re: Kyosho OT16 Knuckles
I've had my version of these hubs on Shapeways for a while now. I could have easily modified them.

Most of the old Bolink molds are owned by Windtunnel Racing. They'll remake any of them.

Re: Jrx-2 front arm question
The Andy's or RPM arms are stiffer than the stock JRX2 arms. Those were quite soft and flexible. It was the Pro-SE arms that were very stiff.

Re: Help: What front shock tower replaces stock junior2/t to
If you have a graphite chassis, any front shock tower from the JRX series will physically fit. If you have a molded chassis with the top plate, the Pro-Se, and Junior 2/T towers fit. The rest would have to be modified.

Re: HyperDrivin' an Ultima box
Nice. A Stealth Ultima, the Ultima 10. That reminds me, I need to find a stealth transmission for my RC10 re release. You're absolutely right about the snake oil. I remember blowing wads of cash on useless upgrades back in the 80's. I guess I had never seen this mod because none of my friend...

Re: shapeways durability?
On a pure geometry to geometry basis, a printed part is not going to be as strong as a molded part. My longer arms were designed to look just like the factory arms but slightly longer. They hold up decently but on hard modern tracks at the speeds that many people run, they will break before a stock ...

Re: shapeways durability?
Shapeways and now i.materialize have been printing my arms all standing up. They are clearly trying to cram lots of items onto a print bed at once. I want them printed lying down flat. Shapeways states somewhere on their site that the person loading the file has no control over print orientation. A ...

Re: shapeways durability?
I got a set of my longer arms printed through i.materialize to compare to Shapeways. Not only are they printed in the exact same orientation, they are completely identical. I can't tell them apart from my Shapeways parts in any way. I wonder if the actual printers are contracted by Shapeways and i.m...

Re: JRXT LRM Questions - Is it slipping?
I'd make sure the slipper is always slipping a little. I killed my JRX gears with a 19 turn brushed motor before I put a slipper on it.

Re: shapeways durability?
As has been noted, there have been some quality issues with my Shapeways parts as well. I've gotten some that were perfect and quite durable. Sometimes they even look off. I've had inconsistencies with hinge pin holes. On some you have to drill them out slightly. On others they are oversized. There ...

I made 8 chassis in total on this run. 2 were one offs with cell slots. One had the 10T front nose.
