Re: kyosho ultima db 1/9th

I was waiting for the price to come down from the original release. Now Losi have released the XXX-SCB I'm in the market for one of those.

It has better scale looks IMHO. :)

My Kyosho Assault

Here's a few shots of my Kyosho Assault. It's a new build that I completed last year. I'd had the kit for some time after bagging it from a collector in Japan, but when I came to build it the screw pack was missing. By some small miracle I managed to find another one, and got it put together. As a '...

Re: Discuss.

It would ensure the forum stays 'pure' I guess. I joined because I'd bought an RC10, so I guess this kind of rule would ensure people have a genuine/real interest in joining the forum. I am a believer that specific forums such as this provide value/support/guidance/help/fun for the people who partak...

Re: LiPos and water?

I use Lipo's in boats, and have had a few submersions with them. If they are properly sealed, you can simply dry them off and have no issues, but 'properly sealed' is very difficult to achieve. Each single Lipo cell is made up of hundreds of layers of very thin lithium. In between each layer is a co...

Re: Will the Re-Re Madness ever stop?

I think we will see quite a few more Re-re's and not just from Tamiya. They have proven that there is clearly a market for bringing some of the older models back into production. Not just for financial reasons, but also because it will support the long-term interest in the hobby. You have to ask the...

Re: Thoughts on a RC10 Hop Up Catalog/Thread?

Please, pretty please JEDI MASTER skip to black fonts, I can't read that with the sub silver template. Sorry, I use the classic theme and the light blue shows up great. How's this;.. As a newbie to the RC10, I would definately find this useful. I think it would need to be segregated into 'gen...

Re: My old-new gold tub project...

Hey Jedi, I've been building something similar (graphite-based, but using this as a guide) and while I had to split it up a bit due to availability - I ended up going to RCPlanet for a most parts - bit cheaper than Tower (although I order from there regularly) and seemed to have more of the parts n...

Re: Thoughts on a RC10 Hop Up Catalog/Thread?

As a newbie to the RC10, I would definately find this useful. I think it would need to be segregated into 'genuine/original' hop-ups and 'possible' hop-ups. This would allow people to choose whether they take a 'purist' or 'modded' route when researching/choosing. I'd be gutted to buy/fit a hop-up ...

Re: Houge RC10

Ruffy, here is a pic of the Houge arms. Someone painted them black at one point and they need to be cleaned up but they are definitely Houge. I hadn't really seen any other aluminum Houge arms and I really appreciate the information. Should make a cool build. http://i625.photobucket.com/albums/tt33...

Re: My old-new gold tub project...

A great thread; thanks for posting Doug :D I'm going to attempt this build myself and have just snagged a donor car off ebay. I'm in the UK and we have a few places that I can source most of the parts from, but they're all pretty pricey. Where would you get your parts from in the USA? Even with pos...

Re: == Who the Heck Are You? ==

I'm Matt (Luke) from the UK. My username was my nick name at school and follows me on all of the forums that I frequent. I started in RC's, as a kid, with a Tamiya Thundershot and then a Mardave Mini. My dad was racing model yachts at the time and I soon found myself building RC scale tugboats. I le...

New to the Forum; My first RC10!

HI everyone, my first post and thought I'd say 'Hi' and Introduce myself. Names Matt and I'm based in the UK. Been into Rc's for a while but this is my first RC10. I bought it from a member on here, who suggested I join for all reasons good. I think you may have seen this model before, but hopefully...
