They do look cool and the price is right. Interesting that the Kyosho website lists it as a 1/8th scale. http://www.kyosho.com/eng/products/rc/detail.html?product_id=106257 Compared to the guy in the video, it doesn't appear that big.

I was waiting for the price to come down from the original release. Now Losi have released the XXX-SCB I'm in the market for one of those.

It has better scale looks IMHO.

I believe the best mods they can do with Avante are Egress front tower and drive train like ball diff and center oneway. and later...

I don't have a great answer for you but....

You could take the long hpi belt and route it as it should be, and measure how much too long it is. Subtract that from the length of the long belt and you should have a pretty good approximation. You know...

was gonna turn it into a turbo ultima but changed my mind as the chassis nip was to hard to find...i have nip turbo ultima rims n rubber but I like all my shelfers to have t&a machining rims lol

Well, I've got the Ultima Pro now and I just had a go at tracing out the top plate onto a piece of cardboard. I thought if I traced and cut out the front piece that's broken off (I'm only going on pictures and sizing it up on the car) and fixed it...
