Re: slipper for xls or cougar 2 question

The Cougar 2 has a belt drive so any other slippers from Schumacher will not fit. However, The Cougar 2 race spec, team spec and works spec all had slippers as stock items. I may have a complete slipper set up in my parts bin if you would like me to look. And if by Yoda you mean old and slow then I ...

Re: CAT XL/XLS

A guy is selling an 87 XL on the Schumacher forums. He says it has only been run once. I think he is looking for 300ish USD. May be what you are looking for.

Re: Top Cat Project

The long front suspension looks like Shotgun. I have the long travel suspension on my Cougar 1 and it looks sweet! Thats too bad about the chassis. Good condition Topcat chassis are hard to find but not impossible. May I suggest doing a Cougar 1/Shotgun resto. You may be able to finish in a few mont...

Re: cougar 2 works part?

A real shame indeed! I bought a couple of shells off him and they are great and he was a peach to deal with! I know what it is like to be taken advantage of. It just takes a few to ruin a good thing for everyone.

Re: cougar 2 works part?

An original is not worth much if it is so rare that it cannot be used! I would gladly sacrifice an original for 10-20 repros. If you use the original for you car it would still leave you with nothing for future projects. Even repros would fetch a high price too! Not to mention the unending gratitude...

Re: Cougar 2000 carbon fibre tub chassis

I am looking for the rear wheels for my Nitro Storm 2000. The Smooth dish ones.

Anyone have a set? I have some NIP fronts to trade.

I also have the manual if anyone needs scans.

Cheers

Re: TopCat at last!!! (New pics)

I have seen one pre C2K Schumacher at my club here in Canada. It was the early nineties and it was a lone Topcat. The field was all JRX PRO's and RC-10 CE's. The gentleman proceeded to dismantle the field and set a track record at the same time. I remember when he hit the big jumps it flew as if it ...

Re: cat 2000 se laydown or standing

I think it has a lot to do with the type of tracks you will drive. The lay down shocks would probably be better for hard packed dirt and grass with more rounded jumps and bumps or even indoors. But for high traction blue groove tracks with big jumps and table tops, muddy or dusty tracks I think you ...

Re: Carbonfibre Schumacher CAT XLS project

At first glance I thought so too. But upon closer inspection they lack the raised area in the center.

They look sweet whatever they are.
