New Yokomo 870c 89 wcs project
Something new I started on. Fanrc chassis kit and a works 91 donor car. Cleaned up the aluminum bulkheads, finishing up on motor mount and the caps are painted and drying. Next rebuild diffs with new pulleys and install with new 2mm pitch belts.

Looking awesome.
Did you use the re-re rear arms? I changed the FAN-RC ones to those on my build. I also used the re-re steering hub carriers.

Finished up front and rear hubs and universals and mounted the topdeck. My turnbuckles were supposed to be here today but are delayed until Monday.

Bunch more done today. Added turbuckles, switched out center wire link on steering for a turnbuckle and a couple other minor details. Now onto the shocks.

I drilled the holes in 2 of the battery posts and installed 2 cell strap. The gold body pins were just to check hole size.

Alright I built the shocks but realized I didn't have any good 4/40 hardware for installing them, so i ordered some.

I installed the shocks and have front and rear black springs to install. I need to add an internal limiter to the rear shocks. I have ordered the correct front tires and now need to find some tr31 rear tires.

Looks awesome Mike! If you find anyone selling TR31's and they want to sell more than one pair, I'm looking for a set. About a year ago a seller had three pairs plus a set of something else and I just couldn't swing buying all of them. From Japan of course. I asked if he would split em up but he wouldn't.
