Kinda cool rc12e
Just bought this heap off eBay cool part is it still has the original sales receipt from 1982. Any reason the tires would be covered in silicone?? Better traction?

Silicone was used to gain traction on polished wooden floors like basketball courts. In the 90's I raced on such a surface. People were racing everything from buggies to pan cars and were desperate to get some sort of grip. Silicone turned out to be a good solution especially when the tyres were coated with a stippled effect rather than left smooth.

If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

Wow, I didn't know an '80s Saab body existed.
My 2nd car was a dark grey 89 Saab 900 Turbo. My family was into them in the '90s and we ended up with quite a few as a result. My father and I did powertrain work on them. I think we still even have a few Garrett turbos left over.
That came out looking great by the way.
