rc10T w/ White parts (now with backstory)

Post by GAMMACRUSH »

snapped some photos for you guys. havent had a chance to clean it up but one day ill clean it up real nice. its not complete... its missing some parts, most recently 1 rear body mount stud. lol, only 1 person on here would appreciate that. 8) (glad to help)

still need...
nose tubes, gear cover

some background: i traded a younger guy a traxxas stampede for this. he said it was not good for bashing. so i told him i have a good one for him haha. he was stoked. when i got his rc10t i was stoked that it was in such good condition. i asked him how come he didnt drive it?... he said somethings wrong with the tranny. so i looked... and the diff was in backwards so it loosened itself under load, and thats why it sucked to drive haha. hence it wasnt driven like it shouldve been, and never went off any sweet jumps. kool for me, kool for him. oh he also told me he took off the nose tubes to make body posts for another rc car

peace,
gamma

Nice!

Eh, it's a minor detail... Unless you have some of these sitting around... ;) Linked to not hi-jack...

Still, it looks to be in pretty darn nice shape!

Why not mount the battery down the middle so then you only need one cup? Weren't all RC10T's supposed to be like that anyway?

Looks like a nice runner!
Those rear body mounts are always a problem.. They should've made them from aluminium.

if they had a mechanical speed control, they batteries went across the tub. not inline. so, you'd need 2 battery cups.

If you need a few of those rear body mounts I'm sure I have a few. Back in the day I swapped all mine out for different ones after I broke a front one.
