snapped some photos for you guys. havent had a chance to clean it up but one day ill clean it up real nice. its not complete... its missing some parts, most recently 1 rear body mount stud. lol, only 1 person on here would appreciate that. (glad to help)
still need...
nose tubes, gear cover
some background: i traded a younger guy a traxxas stampede for this. he said it was not good for bashing. so i told him i have a good one for him haha. he was stoked. when i got his rc10t i was stoked that it was in such good condition. i asked him how come he didnt drive it?... he said somethings wrong with the tranny. so i looked... and the diff was in backwards so it loosened itself under load, and thats why it sucked to drive haha. hence it wasnt driven like it shouldve been, and never went off any sweet jumps. kool for me, kool for him. oh he also told me he took off the nose tubes to make body posts for another rc car
cool guys, thanks for the reply. as for the rc10t almost all of them are exactly how i got them in the mail. haha. i havent really wrenched on any as of yet they all even have the origInal DIRT!
LMAO!!
also the body mount i sent out to a friend to complete his resto. he knows who he is! (glad to help) hehe. but still need one of my own later down the line, but im in no rush.
If you need a few of those rear body mounts I'm sure I have a few. Back in the day I swapped all mine out for different ones after I broke a front one.

Thanks for the info on Super Clean. I went looking for some today, didn't find it. So I was going to get some Simple Green instead when I passed by the Soft Scrub products and found this....
Has anyone any good tips on how to get original white parts clean and white again? Acetone and Bleach don't work!
Cheers,

i've used castrol super clean and had decent results getting parts clean, but once that white plastic gets that yellowish stain to it, its pretty much impossible to get WHITE again. i've tried bleach, softscrub, boiling them in bleach... nothing...
background: i actually paid a pretty penny for this rc10t2, i wont say how much but lets say i a got mint one buy-it-now for the same price. i got it from a local guy (somewhat) i had to drive...

Working on my #7001 restoration and can't find any original #6274 white ball cups for the project - at least not for a reasonable price  . I've searched around a bit and haven't come across any information on the parts compatibility between...

That doesn't sound good...thanks for the heads up on that.
I'm going to try and clean up the originals some more and see how that goes...the only originals I could find on ebay recently sold for $30 and it was incomplete set of 9!!!
This is a new method. Anyone tried this: I might give it a go.
Maybe it's warpspeed patented process?

~72 hrs in a 3%, no sunlight. But did do a few heat cycles in a water bath (think heating up a baby bottle). Not sure if the heating did anything or just the time.
