AVID Triad Slipper on Stealth?
I'm trying to figure out how to put a Triad slipper on a Stealth transmission. I got no help from Avid. If you've done this, please help me!

i don't know all the difference in the B4.x series of cars, but if the triad fits on a b4 shaft, you should be able to buy a b4 top shaft and run the triad clutch for the b4.

Re: AVID Triad Slipper on Stealth?
I think Avid had their own top shaft with the built in spacer. A large one like the MIP shaft had.
I used an AE b4 top shaft (9601) and made a spacer to go between the bearing and inner slipper hub. Had to open up the hole on the trans case.

looks like the instructions just say to remove old and add new on b4.x, so possibly just need some shimming/spacing. they offer a top shaft for TLR and durango, doesn't look like anything for AE.

I have that shaft already! opening the trans case hole sounds easy enough and I can make a spacer on my old micro lathe.
Thanks for the help. Next is to find a set of outdrives. They seem to be back order everywhere I shop online.

Re: AVID Triad Slipper on Stealth?
I opened the hole and used the AVID Triad B44.2 spacer http://avidrc.com/product/5/accessories/554/Triad-B442-Spacer-AV1020-S-442-accessories.html along with three .010" thick 3/16" shims. I'm not going to go to the trouble of making a new spacer at this time. Everything fits nicely.

Re: AVID Triad Slipper on Stealth?
This thread is old but I was able to use the stealth case and just put an old school front wheel bushing on the axle between the stealth case and the triad rear slipper plate. It works just fine that way with no mods necessary.
