Alloy Build Update of Jan/14/2014
Don the Anodizer sent me a preview of my rims. I've switched track with the carbon fiber and alloy build I posted a while ago. Lets just say this version will be too heavy to get out of its own way.

Re: Alloy Sneek Pic.
Every thing really. It's for an all alloy build. Two of them actually. A ying/yang theme I think. So arms, arm mounts, transmission cases, chassis, nose plate, nose plate tubes, Shock towers, transmission spacers, shock bodies & caps, spring retainers, spring collars, battery strap, battery posts, wing mounts, wing buttons, rear hubs, steering arms, castor blocks, bell cranks, body posts, transmission brace, Motor plate, alloy esc case, Alloy servo case, and alloy motor can. Looking around to have a bulk head design I adapted to get machined. And I'll be looking out for all rod ends and other bits/pieces. So still a lot of work before it's complete.

Also I was looking forward to the REC aluminum wing and buttons, but as you all know that fell through. There is an aluminum wing on eBay presently but unfortunately I don't think it uses wing buttons. Might end up having to fabricate a pair. Not to be read as I need to grow some.

Re: Alloy Sneek Pic.
my experience with alloy rod ends so far is either integy or rc4wd for them. double check your sizes though. integy only has rods that accept 4mm turnbuckles but dont have any 4mm for sale. combo with lunsford is my best guess.
askbob did an alloy build a ways back, he had a nice looking turnbuckle setup, maybe he can point you in a better direction than me.

And I thought the wheels were sweet, but that tranny is just unreal!
I miss brushed motors in that hazy, everything seemed better when I was a kid, kind of way.

I know. I was impressed with that too. I threw those in as a , I don't know see what you can do with these, kind of thing. They're positively brilliant. The fact that they are a little long and the ano does not cover the last few threads will be perfect. As I intend to face those off and have them sit flush with the motor plate. They will go in the un anoded case. Hopefully giving a nice contrast. Both on the motor side and in reverse on the gear/pinion side.

Looks great! Does your anodizer call that gold or orange? We have had some debates
my guy calls it orange and gold is more like the early rc10 champaign chassis.
