Scorpion is in great shape except for the tub being painted.
Anybody ever remove paint from one without damaging it?
Here's a pic, I know we all like to see pics!
I think the wheels are more of a nylon?
Will look into soda blasting, tried blasting years ago on an old Brat body, using glass beads, and too high of a pressure, didn't work out to well
So i've got a set of plastic rims, im guessing made of nylon, that were painted a long time ago. Needless to say, the paint now looks absolutely horrible and id like to try and remove it.
Any suggestions as to what chemical can do this w/o...

Thanks for posting that guys. I just picked up an RC10 that I plan to freshen up and run it. This will be one of the first things I do.
Does anyone have any tried and true methods for saving old parts like these? Not concerned with the wheel, just the tire. Just grabbed these off fleabay. Appreciate any suggestions.

And I'll post my nitro fuel results on the 18-19 yr old paint.
Has this been covered before? I think so but can't find the thread. I remember someone had a chassis covered in paint and managed to remove the paint without damaging the anodizing.
I would like to do the same and was wondering what the...

I needed to strip the finish off a pair of Traxxas Rad 2 rims and went with the brake fluid method. This was my first time stripping rims and they turned out great. I did one a few nights ago and did the other tonight. Though some of the finish is...
