Composite Craft TopCat Chassis
Scored these two NIP off the Bay. I am suspecting they are pretty rare. One will be for my my next Topcat project which will have the upgraded front end parts, and some new Cougar SV shocks and god knows what else. The other, I think I will hang it on the wall

Nice score
. This version has the adjustable rear tow feature built in.
I picked up a couple myself a while back which I think is pretty rare. I built up a sweet Topcat from one and still have the other sealed in the pack waiting for a rainy day.

That looks great, can you post up some more pics. My plan is to use one for a hybrid build topcat front end with the revised geometry parts, new adjustable cougar SV shocks since i have some and they are so pretty and various other topcat/cougar parts I have but its in line behind a few other builds.

What are the black wheels on the TopCat Jason - that 'mesh' design is familiar.... but from the darkest depths of my memory!
So badly want a TopCat - I just missed out on two on ebay recently

Love those black wheels too
I remember white Trinity ones that looked the same, are those dyed or did Trinity sell them in black too?

Re: Composite Craft TopCat Chassis
One was a very original, good condition car with a clear TBG shell & some original un-used decals - that went for £1708rad wrote:What did they go for?So badly want a TopCat - I just missed out on two on ebay recently
The 2nd one IMO looks like it could have a been a good buy - basically there was a built up Cougar 2 - but included appeared to be a complete TopCat in parts - along with the box & instruction manual, that one sold for £107.
I only just missed out on both cars by a couple of £.... which is really frustrating, especially with the first car - It was advertised 1st on Tamiyaclub but by the time I saw it & made an enquiry the seller had put it up on ebay - my initial offer to the seller was about what it sold for on ebay... but of cause he would have saved himself the fees. Good on the seller though for doing things by the 'book'

Re: Composite Craft TopCat Chassis
Yep that was mine, I wish you had run the price higher, shipped it today.
Though hopefully you can start a project with it soon, mine is behind a line of a few others.
