Airtonics Receiver ??

Post by losiXXXman »

So I have these two Airtronics receivers, and I;m not sure which order the wires for the servo and speedo should be in due to the discrepancy.. I think that the blue one is a later model z connector, and its wire order is correct as shown, - same order as futabaJ. The older black model ha\s the red wire on th far right, but which one is negative and which is signal? I had an even older second hand Air rec, that I burned out by duplicating what the blue one has, so I know that's not right for the older ones... Thanks in advance!

With the older one, signal is still in the same place, opposite end to the positive. The older Sanwa / Airtronics / KO servos were signal - negative - positive, whereas pretty much everything else was / is signal - positive - negative.

Hope that helps....

Thanks for the answer Alex! After posting that I got to thinking, and looking at the picture, and thought that it was probably just a +/- reversal. Now I know, and won't fry this one! If this one works, it's just a bonus, I assumed that the electronics were toast when I bought the package....
