Ok, I picked these two cars up and I have no clue what they are. They are both Kyosho, but I'm not sure what models they are. Any help you guys could throw my way would be great. Thanks in advance, Damon...

The off road isn't a kyosho, it's a SG Coyote 2wd
They came in 2wd, fwd, and 4wd
There are some good threads here on them. I have a fwd version new in box
The Indy car is a kyosho and went by a few names such as the target scotch Indy and even a nastruck. SR5 was the designation

well the SG Coyote sure looks interesting. I was sitting here checking it out and thinking of hooking a battery pack to it and I noticed that there was not a spot to store a battery on this unit. So I dug up some pictures and that's a pretty crazy setup and it explains the plastic clips on each side of the frame as well. I'm going to have to run it, hahaha...

Run it but stay with the stock motor the gears were not known for their longevity unless they were the improved metal units.

The SR5 used a hex Basically like tamiya did on their old pan cars. I don't recall if it was 12mm tho
Here is the hex it keys into

Ed, you are talking about the kyosho f1 right? They have always been a hex even back in the fantom days. I'm just not sure of the size

I know that: I have a plazma = 2WD Phantom basically.
And that's why I'm interested: looking for parts that might work on the plazma as I'm rolling it hard lately and the original wheels and spur/diff are near impossible to get still
Ahhh I get it now ill keep my eyes open for the manuals too
