brushless coversion for jato?

I have come across a jato roller for 40.00. Pretty much a deal that's almost too good to pass up. My question is does a electric conversion kit exsist for it? I am not really into nitro and don't feel like getting a new nitro motor.

I have not seen any, I am not sure if Tekno might be able to help out with that as they make brushless conversions for 1/8 buggies. Years ago the guys from RC Monster debated it, but I do not know where they got with it from there.

nothing off the shelf but a guy in france posted a couple conversions on the traxxas board here:

looks simple enuf if you are handy with tools. Did this myself for a nitro hawk awhile back.

well bud, for 40 bucks thats kinda a steal, lol. even f you try it with a big Trinity 550 brushed motor first;)
