rear bulkhead and gear cover question
Hey everyone, I just found my rc10t. I've been racing my sc10 and b4 for the last 3 months and I decided to take the 10t to the track just for fun. I have a couple of rpm rear bulkheads for a gt but I noticed that the mounting holes for the tranc brace are off. I'm thinking that I need to make some sort of spacer or shim and longer screws. What has everyone else used to solve this problem? My other issue is a gear cover thats close enough or an exact fit. Does a t3 or t4 gear cover work?
Thanks in advance for any help and sorry if this has been covered in other threads.

Re: rear bulkhead and gear cover question
T4 cover works pretty well, you just have to drill a new lower hole- and the RPM GT rear tower is not really an easy install on a 10t- I would just locate a stock rear bulkhead-

What has to be done? I was thinking a small piece of alum. drilled out and longer screws. Whats everyone else used?

Re: rear bulkhead and gear cover question
Well for one it has no battery box, 2 the tower that is designed to mount to it is different and 3rd the rear bulkhead bracing mount is way lower than the stock rc10 rear bulkhead PN 6323-

i have 1 and 2 covered. I'm just not sure about 3. I'll figure something out b/c it seems to me that the rear bulkhead is the only part I cant get new anymore. Is there anything else?

Re: rear bulkhead and gear cover question

Ok, this is what I did to use a RC10GT rear bulkhead on a custom RC10 buggy.
1- Made a custom tower to fit.
2- Made a custom aluminum brace that I bent to fit
3- The holes on the bottom of the chassis are a bit wider on the GT and in a different location so the holes son my chassis are in a different location.
4- You won't have a rear battery cut so you have to figure out a different way to hold the battery.
This is the link to my built.

This pool design is ok but I feel that the interior of this house is very special and it need to be reflected on the back yard.
I couldn't agree more-
