KYOSHO TRIUMPH...

Post by FasterLouder »

Any Trumpy owners out there?
I had a some NIP Triumph spares in my parts bin and I was lucky enough to make a trade with redscampi for a whole lotta parts-around one and a half cars stripped down.
And this is the result...I need an upper deck and the battery trays REAL bad!
I have a repro body painted up and some decals ordered...I've always been a sucker for double deck chassis cars :D

Here's it's current state...I had in stock and installed a new gear case, front rims, ball diff, belts, front upper chassis, front and rear bulkheads and front and rear uprights.
Oh,I bought a NIP chassis off the 'bay, too.

If anyone has any Triumph parts,or a whole car that they're willing to sell,or trade,I'm interested! :?

It's really frustrating when a project stalls for lack of parts,oh what I'd give for an upper chassis and a battery tray...

I have a Triumph also. They are pretty neat cars. They sound much different than most buggies due to the belt in the transmission. I actually got mine NIB from a guy in Australia years ago. I wanted one ever since they came out in the early 90s. I missed out when Tower Hobbies was blowing them out for $99!!!

I might have a spare battery tray.
I did the whole make over with mine a few years ago, and I switched everything except the upper deck.

The Triumph is my favourite Kyosho 2wd buggy just for how it looks. The body is awesome and I'm a sucker for double-deck chassis'. The car just looks the business, wether it is or not, I can't say.....yet. Hoping to build a runner one day :)
