3 piece neon wheels

Hi. This is a great forum. I've seen lots of cars to drool over in here.
Anyways, I found an older B2 at the thrift store. Looks like it was barely used, practically new condition. However, it has those 3 piece neon green wheels with no inside 'rings'. Only the inner and outer halves. Does anybody know the exact dimensions(inner&outer diameter and width) of these? Both front and rear please. They are part #6804rear and #6854front. I thought I could just fabricate something. PVC pipe or something.

I just had a quick question about the 3 piece wheels that came on the rc10t. Are they 2.2 and are you able to put newer type of tires on those rims.

I want to keep the vintage look to my rc10t but dont want to use old tires. i would rather use...

I had trouble with the current tires on the 3 piece rims because of the foams getting in the way of the seating of the bead no matter what I did, so they really likes spitting tbd tires off!

Been trying to mount them up, but I don't seem to have the strength, or enough hands to get it to all fit together to the point that I can screw the halves shut. Does anybody have any tips? Or is it just not possible?

It seems like the old 3 piece RC10T wheels were pretty solid, and the feature of not having to glue them would be desirable, why are they so rare now? Seems like ebay searching only turns up a few sets that are pretty expensive. Oddly, front 3 piece...

I came across these a couple weeks ago. The are shaped just like the original 3 piece wheels but the front piece is aluminum. The back and middle spacer (not sure what it's called) are still plastic but chrome plated. Anyone know who makes these? I...

A few different people have made those in aluminum over the years. I figured they were all aluminum. Maybe some of the manufactures only made the faces in aluminum.

Hello . This may help . The GT black tub came with solid rims 7842 front and 7802 if you have 1/4 axles and 7803 for 3/16 axles .

Also any 2.2 truck tire will work on the solid rims . Just pick your tread pattern for front and rear . The 3 piece...
