Re: TBG CF ULTIMA
i was just worried about the top deck being 1.2mm carbon fiber? seems really thin. i already have a 3mm custom upper deck so im not worried, but 1.2 seems like it would crack pretty easily
Re: TBG CF ULTIMA
yea 1.2 is a lil thin but im not running mine lol.also his thicker stuff appears to be laminated.he didnt drill a hole for the front body clip holder and the 2 holes at the front of the radio tray were to small.not a big deal.other wise it went together pretty well.im happy with it.mikedealer wrote:i was just worried about the top deck being 1.2mm carbon fiber? seems really thin. i already have a 3mm custom upper deck so im not worried, but 1.2 seems like it would crack pretty easily

Re: TBG CF ULTIMA
I have to say that I don't care for the look of it with the original ultima body the openess space between the 2 decks with the original ultima body just doesn't look right I think it would look better with a turbo body that would cover it. The original ultima body I believe is really only half of the body and the chassis is the other half that completes the look of an ultima thats what draws people to it, the original ultima is not the best runner out of all the ultima buggies but I do believe it is the best looking out of the ultima line up. As far as your build goes everything else looks great
Re: TBG CF ULTIMA
i really wish when i sold my hot trick ultima that i swapped out the CF track master tranny off it now . ah well .
