I was hoping it would be a little lighter, it's a bit on the Factory Team side
It's not that bad :D Tone usually depends on the amount of time spent into the anodizing bath and the prep job (sand blasted, polished, mirror polished...). You could always ask your anodizer to try to take it out a tad sooner. Of course that will also reduce the anodizing thickness, usually between 15 and 20 microns.

It isn't bad at all just a little too close to factory team blue. The anno shop showed me a samples left in for (I wanna say...) 3 and 5 minutes and the 3 minute had a nice light look. I was hoping that would translate but with the different materials and other variables it darkened up a bit.

At least it isn't blotchy 8)

It looks like a lot deeper blue than Factory Team. That's borderline violet. I like it. 8)

All the colours really stand out. I love the bronze/brownish one the most. Thats really oldschool.
Any more pics/infos about that carstand/vise?

It's a Panavise, they were popular bitd.

Thanks guys! I too love the colors- all are special in one way or another

Thumbs- the color looks a little more brilliant on here than in real life. Hmmmm...violet....I wonder.....
