Re: Kyosho Triumph
Here's a picture of the stronger shock tower. It has kyosho molded at the bottom of the shock tower. The extra material was added to the inside sides and the lower section.

Re: Kyosho Triumph
Hmm...I have a feeling I have the original shock tower as I don't remember seeing the Kyosho molded in the bottom. Thanks for the pic and info!

Re: Kyosho Triumph
or on the shelf like most, or half-finshed in a storagebox like me
but seriously, I have a question: how can they mould that text onto a part that's cut from flat material?

Re: Kyosho Triumph
There's a run of front and rear shock towers that are molded but pretty much flat. Then there's the original FRP parts plus I've found updated FRP parts that are heavier duty than the originals.
On a side note, does anyone have a spare front bumper laying around? That's about the only piece I'm short from completing a roller... I know about the one on Ebay, just looking for other options if possible. Thanks!

Re: Kyosho Triumph
I've only seen the molded graphite shock towers for the triumph. I never knew there were fibergalss versions...are you sure it wasn't for a pro-x?

Re: Kyosho Triumph
I should start working on mine again. It misses little else than the topdeck, but I was thinking of making my own design anyway... and then got lazy and distracted with other builds

Re: Kyosho Triumph
I definately want to see one. I've always liked the triumph and thought with a little help, the car could become very competetive.
