Looks great! I would hit the screws with some flat black paint or anodized black. I think that would look great and match the tires and the other black hardware.

Haha you bought all of em Marlo! There are none left!
I know it's brown, but it also is something that could have been done bitd, and everything so far is era correct so I would hate to throw stainless at it at this point. I have some zinc flat head slotted screws that may work, or I may sharpie some gold screws, as I know we did that bitd!

All my cars used stainless hardware as soon as I built them. Though I did have a source(my dad). This would have been '87 or so......

Re: GoMachV's workbench- a RC10 of a different color
I changed the title to "RC10's" of a different color and will just add on to this topic. It will be a place for my oddball anno jobs
Here is the bronze car finished with the funco body and ready for shelf duty. Only other thing would be if I can find better front wheels

And now on to something a little brighter

Re: GoMachV's workbench- RC10's of a different color
It was a tight fit as it is more of a bolink digger or tamiya SRB body, I had to cut some holes for the rear shocks (hard to see) and trim for the nose tubes but in the end I really like it as well. Stock bodies get boring on oddball cars

Next is selling off a couple purple ones to finance the next ones. The 10t is already up. I may keep the buggy, it's going to be pretty cool.
I want to try the green, blue, and "copper penny" at some point. Time to start rounding up more chassis

Nice work... Love the black one, it's got a nice contrast between the black and white parts.
Actually, they're all really nice!

Threw some paint at the black one. I was always a fan of the 70's Simpson racing jackets growing up, I loved the colors. This was the inspiration although its not all that noticeable
