how does vintage r/c have anything to do with people stealing crap off your porch? unless i'm not picking up what you're putting down.
why is it so hard for you to find tires? i could spend less than 5-10 minutes on ebay and probably come up with half a dozen pairs. or, you could go tower hobbies right now and get a pair of tamiya hornet rear tires.
yeah, so the best bet for you will be to buy some tamiya buggy tires, hornet ones, and put them on your wheels. The ajs/proline/associated style original tires are very expensive because good version aren't too readily available. the hornet ones are cheap, and allow you to run your buggy around with no worries or wearing out $40-$60 tires.
sorry, I will try to get pics tomorrow , I havent been feeling that well. I will dig them out tonight and get them on the workbench so I can snap a photo.

Sorry about the rant guys. It just gets frustrating when you put up a good chunk of change (twice) just to have what i worked hard for taken by some degenerate p.o.s. that doesnt even know whats in the box. UPS wont accept the claim because it was delivered and signed(scribbled) for.USPS could care less, fill out a form and wait.. Sometimes i just wonder if its worth the trouble and headaches. But looking at the completed cars of other members, and the responses of people willing to help out can definitely change the way one looks at this hobby, and remember why we got into it. Again, sorry about the rant, and thanks for the help. I cant wait to finish this car. Then start on the next..and the next after that..
Big thanks to JK RACING for the AE rear tires!!Theyll look great on the edinger when i get it back together. I think ill put those proline viper fronts on the edinger as well. Thanks again for your help. I really appreciate it.
