Another new...er...used gold tub!

Post by RedScampi »

I won this on E-bay a couple of weeks ago. Even though the seller claimed it had a stealth trans you could tell by the fuzzy pics that it didn't. I got it for a decent price so that didn't bother me. I would like some help identifying the body though - It's different from any I've seen so far. The car has bearings, one set of turnbuckles up front, Andy's front control arms, rear MIP CVD's, and some kind of aftermarket steering rack. The tub is warped a bit so I'm going to have to tear it down eventually to straighten it - which I would do anyway. Other than that I can't complain.

Pardon my ignorance but I've seen the word "Edinger" used a lot in reference to certain cars and parts. I haven't been able to figure out specifically what that refers to yet. Can someone enlighten me?

I believe it to be when Associated was located in Edinger California or on Edinger Ave somewhere in California....don't feel alone with your ignorance to this  . I'm sure someone will clarify a little more.

First location on Edinger Ave....then they moved to Cadillac Ave....hence the Edinger/Cadillac references throughout these forums.
