Ahh nice. No tq rims yet but nice to have some 2.175's
Keep in mind you need the 3/16 cvd's and rear hubs and bearings to make them fit
Edit....those are white versions of the Worlds wheels....which were 1/4". Must be labeled wrong. Going by the part number they should be white one piece 1/4" rears so direct fit

It's about time they came up with a lazy solution for me! I think I'm gonna preorder a pair and steal a pair of my b3's fronts. Time to kick some tlr 22 butt

That's cool... Maybe I'm wrong but these type of wheels have no longer been produced since the B3?

So is it 3/16 then? If so...it sucks that they screwed with part numbers

Its really no different than them giving the worlds wheels a 9xxx part number because they used them on the b2 sport too.
As long as its clearly marked they're for 3/16 axles I don't see an issue.

I've had a pair of these and the CVA's on backorder from Tower since September. So much for being here in late October.

I just mean that they are using the part number out of the manual for a worlds car, anyone following the manual would assume they found the right one. They had a part number for the 2.2 3/16" wheels I don't see why they wouldn't use itscr8p wrote:Its really no different than them giving the worlds wheels a 9xxx part number because they used them on the b2 sport too.

Why would you wait on the wheels when they're available now?

I use the old school black AE wheels which allow the use of original 1/4" UJs and modern 2.2" tyres. I think they were from TQ?

Re: New 2.2 Rear tires for gold pans?
i know what you were getting at. they just seem to like to keep their kits (and parts for them) grouped together numerically. it also shows they're not planning to bring the original "worlds" wheel back.gomachv wrote: just mean that they are using the part number out of the manual for a worlds car, anyone following the manual would assume they found the right one. Re: New 2.2 Rear tires for gold pans?
scr8p is correct, those are technically TT Phoenix BX wheels for 3/16 CVD/axels. They are from the same mold as B3 wheels just different plastic that TT uses. If you want the yellow version, you'll have to wait as I am. The TT wheels are OK, just don't expect them to be exactly like the original Asso nylon wheels.

The TT wheels melt in acetone, hopefully the AE offerings will be nylon.

Re: New 2.2 Rear tires for gold pans?
That's a bummer, I have plenty of B3/Phoenix wheels already. I was under the impression that these would be a direct fit 2.2 wheel for my gold pan, instead of having to order wheels from the uk.
