Does anyone know the teeth count on the stock spur, that came with the 6 gear cars?

Its 54 teeth if i remember correctly.

Did the CE ever come with black shock caps and a black 32P, 52tooth spur gear? Everything else on the car is white and it just doesn't look right. All the pics I've seen have gold caps and white spur. Because this car is near mint I want it to be as...

my very first rc10 was a CE. it came with the gold shock caps(also plastic o-rings instead of the rubber o-rings to seal the caps), and the 32 pitch spur on my 6 gear tranny. i also i got the last of the gold tubs with no stealth tranny holes...

Both my stock 81 tooth 48p spur gears got messed up years ago so I have a Robinson racing white machined thing on there that I bought at a hobby shop ages ago. I cant get much smaller than a 17t pinion on there because the motor is actually touching...

Hello B3 folks,

Does anyone know if the older RRP #178X spur gears fit a B3? How about the current RRP #188X or #198X spur gears? These are all 48-pitch gears, right? I guess I'm curious about the hub size and the two mounting hole centers. Thanks...

Metal ring will face towards the mounting screws. Or be on the right side of the spur when looking from behind.

I have a Championship Edition w/ 6 gear tranny. I need a new spur gear the manual says #6533 54t. Does any company make a replacement???

Hi， i am new to vintage RC10. I have a 6 gear and my spur gear is damaged. Can i replace the broken part with any of the gear from the latest RC10 model in today's rc market without too much of modification. What parts to i need？ thanks

Hey Guys,

I just dug my old RC10 out of the attic and started driving it again since I got my son an RC car and wanted to show him how well my old one worked. I got a kit to rebuild the rear shocks, but other than leaky shocks it was working great....

I see that robinson racing has a metal spur gear that looks like it would bolt onto a stealth trans sine I thought that is what was in a rc10 gt nitro and it is 32 pitch I know but all metal and I would think much tougher than the 48 pitch plastic...

might not be a bad idea to try, but keep in mind it will take alot more energy to both spin and stop that metal spur gear.

i tried one on a gt year and years ago, and it ended up being worse than a plastic gear since it ate up pinions like crazy.

I have a 1990 championship edition and I stripped my 32p spur gear. I installed a 48p spur and stripped that too!

I meshed the pinion and spur correctly and installed new carbide balls in the spur gear.
